I had to add this

I thought that I would add a section on "What are you watching now?". JAFO started one with music.

I know I can't be the only one that watches TV while surfing the web.

Currently watching "Creature" on the SciFi channel till Revelations comes on. Nothing else is really on.

Farscape was a bit too 'Muppets-in-space' for me....

I have to agree. I'm a big sci-fi fan, but that show just didn't do it for me. I think Jafo's observation sums up why. Firefly was pretty cool, but a bit too "wild west in space" for me.  I might have gotten past that though if it had stayed on the air a bit longer. Fox has a real knack for cancelling good shows.

Oh yeah, the topic... I'm at work, so not watching TV right now. The only shows I really make a point to watch are 24 and Lost ... at least until Sci-Fi Friday returns in the summer.

Nothing really on right now. So I'm watching "Code Name:Eternity" while I get things done until I have to leave for school tonight.

I really don't want to go today. 2hours there, sit in class for about 3-4hours, then 2hours back home.

So true - the importation of new cast members is preferable to the cancellation of Stargate. The fact they're formerly of "muppets in space" is irrelevant. The producers of Stargate will do an excellent job as always.
Stargate encompasses so much from the history, geography, science and tech channels - what more could you want

Long live the off world adventures.

Right now watching the new Pope elected.

I've seen the episodes of "Code Name:Eternity" so I'm watching "Day the Earth Died" on the Science Channel.

Well I cant disagree, that was my first impression of the show when I first discovered it..but after watching it and figuring out some of the storylines I actually begun to like it, quite a bit.If you like serious Sci-fi check out Battlestar Gallactica, the new series is definitely morbidly serious..I really like it personally.

As for Chriton in Stargate..::laughs and nods:: I think the Chriton character needs to stay in Farscape, the actor I thought did an excellent job portraying that character though..I guess now we'll see if he can actually act or he is a "one role hero" LoL

Great observation Starkers and I agree completely!

I know, They just finished up Season 8. (Alot of Seasons to buy ) I didn't like how they ended Atlantis for the first Season. Well, just have to wait till June/July to see the new seasons.

::laughs:: I own all 7 seasons in Boxed DVD sets, I have been buying them as soon as they hit the shelves..
As for Atlantis, it doesnt look real good for them at this point, pretty grim the way the ended the season I'll admit, it will be interesting to see how the writers get them out of this jamb, hopefully it wont be to unbelievable..LoL

As for what I am watching right now.."nada" Just got home from work and I am thinking of taking a nap..LoL..

Take care everyone,
Zero.

Huuu don't give to much away about Stargate Atlantis, the season has just started over here and I am already hooked!

I quite liked Farscape, but I don't know what is was, but I just never got hooked on it. Maybe it was the 'Muppets'-factor...

And Weaksid, this Avatar is mine, made by me. The clown-fish represents my profession (I am a tropical Marine-Biologist) and the intitials are from my real name. I don't think I have ever seen Elfkuras avatar, this site supports avatars only since December.

I should go back and edit a post to add this, but don't know if someone would read it before I could finish this.

DZ, I would love to have the seasons. I just haven't had the extra $ yet to buy them. I've been watching them since season 1. I even liked it before they came out with SG-1. I loved the original movie, but I enjoy the cast for SG-1 better.

I completely understand about the "Xtra Cash" part! I buy them as soon as they hit the shelves because I have found that it is when they are the cheapest, it seems like a week later the price increases by $20..
You know it's funny, I love the movie and have watched it 6 or 7 times since it was released, but I do not own it..LoL..now thats strange!

Aufisch, I promise not to say another word about Atlantis! Enjoy...

You mean Red Sox

No, I was talking about baseball, not the WWF

oh, I forgot, Pedro's gone.

Us in Maine don't care about any thing else in baseball than having the Red Sox beat that other team, and god hope that they whip those Yankee's butts!
